Thanks to a kind help and a great cooperation with Amy and Phil from DTVKit, we (at STB Systems Support and Maintenance Team at CANAL+ Polska) got an opportunity to get a closer look at one of those STBs. It's currently our internal activity as we were exploring RDK-V for a quite some time, but more from a theoretical than practical point of view. And the time has come to move to a more practical approach. DTVKit's idea appeared at a perfect moment as we were looking for something like this or considered to run RDK-V on some compatible HW. From mine, clearly technical perspective, quite fine would be even to have just a bare mainboard, but it should be emphasized that this Hybrid White Label set-top-box is a complete product, fully assembled, with premium look & feel, and comes with an advanced RCU, so the device can be presented to business departments and it surely will make a good impression from the start. The software stack is already complete, with basic features done, and as far as I know - with more to come. I'm in progress of exploring current features and examining the device. A great idea for an easily and widely accessible STB, which can promote RDK-V and serve as a platform for demonstration and PoC purposes. A good initiative from DTVKit.
