DTVKit is looking forward to attending SES Luxembourg

DTVKit will be attending SES Luxembourg on 14th-15th of May 2019

We are very excited to be attending SES Industry days 2019. This year SES will be hosted in Luxembourg, and it is taking place on the 14th-15th of May in the Luxembourg Congress. Each year SES sees representatives from over 130 countries who are presenting their latest and creative products. The primary industries this two-day convention is media broadcast and satellite sectors.

Enhancing the Broadcast and Video Industries

The end goal of SES is to enhance and improve the world of broadcast and video. SES sets to highlight the technical challenges and difficulties faced by those in the industry, and collaboratively explore solutions and future business prospects. Bringing together industry leaders and technical experts all under one roof allows attendees to network and get insightful information on what is happening within the industry and the direction that it is heading in.

Key Topics

This year a variety of topics are set to be discussed and debated; this includes 8K and 4K Ultra HD. The high-quality image leads to an improved user experience. The release date of 8K is still yet to be confirmed so keep your eyes peeled! Another topic you can expect to be hearing a lot about is data analytics and cloud technologies, which has an end goal of driving improvements in the experience and efficiency for the audience and users.

Another hot topic which has taken centre stage over the past year is 5G; this super-speed network is set to change many industries by making their processes more efficient and saving them large amounts of time. Finally, SES will be exploring the topic of how chip manufacturers are adapting to the changing pace of satellite development; discussions will be looking at what the best way forward for this is.

We are looking forward to attending SES Luxembourg; we will be there on 14th-15th May. If you would like to book a meeting with us, please email info@dtvkit.org.
