We’re excited to announce that DTVKit will be at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, sharing a stand with Ocean Blue Software (OBS)!

A number of our members, including OBS, OOROUnionman and Vista, will showcase live demos powered by DTVKit software, highlighting our commitment to open, standards-based software for the global broadcast and connected TV market.

Date: 12-15 September 2025

Location: RAI Amsterdam, Netherlands

Booth: Hall 1.D15

We’ll be talking about:

ATSC 3.0 (NextGen TV):
Our ATSC 3.0 stack is compatible with Linux and Android based platforms (with multi-tuner support) and can power set-top boxes, TVs, and gateway devices. NextGen TV is now available across receiver models from leading brands like RCA and Panasonic, reaching 80+ million households in 2025.

DVB-NIP:
Our extension to DVB for native IP broadcast enables hybrid content delivery. DVB-NIP has been successfully deployed for live and on-demand streaming in government-backed education hubs in Peru, as well as pilot projects in Brazil, Mexico, and Thailand.

Partner Demos at IBC

Some of our key members will highlight the power of DTVKit’s software through live demonstrations:

Ocean Blue Software (OBS)

OBS, based in the UK, is a long-standing technology partner to some of the world’s leading Smart TV brands. With over 20 years of industry experience, OBS provides end-to-end solutions that span development, testing, and deployment, helping customers reduce complexity and accelerate time-to-market.

At IBC 2025, OBS will showcase the OORO Smart TV, developed in collaboration with Elaraby. The device is powered by DTVKit’s DVBCore and CI+ stacks, and the demo will highlight OBS’s innovation and validation services, combined with project management, product consultancy, and security expertise.

The OORO Smart TV is a clear example of how DTVKit’s open software components can support rapid product delivery while maintaining high quality and interoperability across global markets.

Unionman

Unionman, a leading Chinese technology company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, will present its advanced set-top box solutions designed for smart home and multimedia environments. Their demo will feature DVB-C, DVB-T2, DVB-S2X, Hybrid (OTT + DVB-S2X), and DVB Dongle solutions, all powered by DTVKit’s core technology.

With integrated DVBcore and DSMCC modules, Unionman’s solutions offer seamless broadcast signal processing, EPG parsing, and dynamic resource management, ensuring faster time-to-market for operators.

Vista

Based in Singapore, Vista specializes in cost-effective operator TV and network solutions for emerging markets. Their demo will also showcase DVB-C, DVB-T2, DVB-S2X, Hybrid (OTT + DVB-S2X), and DVB Dongle solutions built on DTVKit’s software.

Vista’s focus on collaboration between Pay TV operators, telcos, and content providers aligns perfectly with DTVKit’s mission to deliver open, interoperable, and future-proof broadcast solutions.
