DTVKit is proud to introduce our upcoming launch for a new ATSC 3.0 software stack. As a leading shared source community, DTVKit offers a suite of market-proven broadcast software components to our members. Our ATSC 3.0 solution brings next-generation TV broadcasting to life, with key features detailed below.

DVB-NIP: The Future of Free-to-Air Broadcasts

Adaptation and modernization are crucial in the evolving landscape of broadcast technology. DVB-NIP represents a significant step forward, offering a parallel evolution to ATSC-3. This emerging standard is gaining global interest and has the potential to become a key player in the broadcasting space.

DVB-NIP will be available to DTVKit members next month and supported by our Hybrid White Label development platform, facilitating swift evaluation and prototyping.

As member requirements progress, these releases will be seamlessly integrated into the major platforms, including RDK and Android, ensuring widespread accessibility and usability.

HbbTV 2.0.3: Enhancing Interactive TV Experiences

DTVKit offers a new version of the innovative ORB HbbTV 2.0.3 solution fully integrated to DTVKit DVBCore and DSMCC with versions for both RDK and Android. The HbbTV 2.0.3 specification seamlessly integrates broadcast and broadband services, offering an enhanced and interactive TV viewing experience. Our solution utilizes the existing system browser (WPE or Android Webview), reducing system complexity and resource requirements.

This hybrid white label platform now allows you to showcase your own HbbTV apps to your prospective customer and remember you do not have to be a member to purchase a set-top box!
